Disney Channel Idents

The brief

The Disney Channel commissioned BDA Creative to produce a series of brand identity films, or idents, to connect with pre-teens ages 10-14 all over Asia.

Our client envisioned the iconic Mickey Mouse as become a portal to extraordinary worlds of adventure and imagination. The new idents had to represent how Disney transforms kids’ daily lives with its unique brand of magic.

What I did

I came up with the concepts and scripts for all six idents. I also line produced, overseeing all aspects of pre-production from casting to location scouting. On set, I was the assistant director for five days of filming in Singapore and Malaysia.

Finally, as post producer I worked with a music composer, an editor and three designers/animators to bring the idents to completion.
